Waltham - Mr. Frank E. Tully, of Waltham, died Friday, February 1, 2008 in his home. He was 80. Frank worked for many years as a Health Inspector for the City of Waltham until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the Joseph F. Hill American Legion Post #156 in Waltham, a past chairman of the Board of Health in Waltham and was an avid sports fan. Frank served in the United States Army during World War II. He was the husband of the late Evelyn E. (Wagner) Tully, son of the late George L. and Mary K. (McCarthy) Tully and brother of the late George L. Tully, M.D. and John P. Tully. Frank leaves his children, Steven J. Tully and his wife, Linda, of Beaufort, South Carolina, Peter S. Tully of Gilbert, Arizona, Judy T. Gaudet and her husband, Stephen, of Bedford, New Hampshire, and Paul K. Tully of Nashua, New Hampshire; his grandchildren, Derek, Chantel and David Gaudet and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery.
