Weston - Mr. Frederick J. Perkins, of Weston, died Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Epoch Senior Healthcare Center in Weston. He was 77. Born in Boston, a son of the late Frederick W. and Helen B. (Jones) Perkins, he was a lifelong resident of Weston. Fred was a Weston Firefighter for many years. He was an active member of the Antique Truck Club of America and the American Truck Historical Society, and he enjoyed photography. Fred leaves his wife, Carol M. (White) Perkins, two daughters, Rachel A. Garner and her husband, Steve, of Avondale, Arizona, Beth J. Loesch and her husband, Bill, of Westford; one sister, Marjorie Gibbs of Aurora, Colorado, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24th, at 10 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
