Gemma T. (Cavooto) Testa

Mrs. Gemma T. (Cavooto) Testa, of Naples, FL formerly of Waltham, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in Naples, Florida. She was 91. Mrs. Testa was born in Waltham on October 13, 1924, a daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Russo) Cavooto.

Gemma worked at the Raytheon Company and the Clevite Corporation. She retired from the Standard Thomson Company in 1988 after twenty three years of service.

Gemma was the wife of the late David E. Testa, the mother of the late Gloria J. Wilson, and the sister of the late Helen Cannizzo and Anthony Cavooto.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane M. Martin of Naples, Florida; her granddaughter, Nicole M. Martin of Vail, Colorado; and her brother, Fred Cavooto of Acton.

Family and friends will honor and remember Gemma's life by gathering for calling hours on Friday, August 12th, from 4 to 8 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, Waltham, and again on Saturday where her Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
