Genevieve M. Pelrine

Waltham – Miss Genevieve M. Pelrine, Of Waltham, died Thursday, May 13, 2010 in Epoch of Weston. She was 86.

Genevieve was born in East Boston on February 23, 1924, a daughter of the late Edwin A. and Agnes (Hale) Pelrine. She was raised in East Boston and graduated from Fitton Central High School. She later lived in Medford before moving to Waltham 37 years ago.

She worked for Honeywell Corporation in Brighton and later for the former Bank of New England in Boston before retiring in 1986.

Genevieve leaves her sisters, Theresa M. Pelrine of Waltham and Eleanor R. Goldsack of West Medford; many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, John E. Pelrine and William J. Pelrine.
Family and friends will honor and remember Genevieve’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
