George F. Bott

Waltham- Mr. George F. Bott, Jr of Waltham died Thursday October 8, 2009 at Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton. He was 71. George was born in New Haven, Connecticut on October 19, 1937, a son of the late George F. Bott, Sr and Vivian (White) Bott, George had lived in Brighton for many years before moving to Waltham twenty years ago. George worked for over forty years as a customer service manager for various paper businesses and until his retirement at Unisource Paper Company. In his spare time George enjoyed reading and golfing and was also employed at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland. George served in the United States Navy. George leaves his wife Maureen Murphy Bott, his children, Marc R. Bott and his wife, Lauren, of Branford, Connecticut, Cheryl A. Bott of Florida, and Jeffrey C. Bott of Waltham, two brothers, George Setreus and John Bott both of Connecticut, his sister, Connie Wadi of Connecticut, and his two grandchildren, Scarlet and Ian Bott. Family and friends will honor and remember George's life by gathering for calling hours at The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services and burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Hematology and Oncology at Saint Elizabeth�s Medical Center, 736 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA 02135
