Waltham Mr. George E. Eddie Lanctot, Jr., of Waltham, formerly of Honolulu, Hawaii, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Kindred Hospital, Boston. He was 66. Born in Boston, a son of the late George E. and Mary L. (Brusie) Lanctot, Sr., he was raised in Waltham where he graduated from Waltham High School in 1958. George attended Northeastern University and after that joined the United States Army serving as a captain during the Vietnam War. He had lived in Arizona for ten years, working as a realtor, and in 1982 moved to Honolulu where he worked for more than twenty years as a property manager for U.S. Army facilities in Hawaii. George also belonged to the Knights of Columbus in Honolulu. He leaves his sisters, Carolyn L. Foster of Manchester, New Jeresey and Barbara J. Starmer-Coen of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. He was also a brother of the late Constance Pangburn, Audrey Lanctot and J. Robert Lanctot. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Southboro Rural Cemetery, Southboro. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
