Waltham Mr. George E. Muise, of Waltham, died Friday, December 14, 2007 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 72. Born in Waltham, a son of the late Timothy and Mary Helen (Burns) Muise, George worked for many years as a foreman for the W.H. Nichols Company in Waltham until his retirement. He lived in Marlborough for thirty years before returning to Waltham in 1996. He also served with the United States Navy for eight years. He leaves his children, James E. Muise of Watertown and Paula J. Timko and her husband, Bryan, of Newton; his step-children Carol A. Harder of Vista, California, Julie M. Hillegass and Laurie H. Bourque both of Orlando, Florida, and Susan E. Donahue of Grafton; his grandchildren, John, Matthew, Sarah, and Andrew; his greatgrandchildren, Alex, Lauren and Russell; his former wife, Ann M. (Mague) Muise of Northboro; two brothers, Timothy Muise of Haverhill and Charles Muise of Framingham; two sisters, Marion Butler of Waltham and Pauline Quinlan of Chatham, New Jersey and many nieces and nephews. George was also a brother of the late Chester Muise. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 11 a.m. Wednesday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
