Waltham Mr. Gerald M. Curtin of Waltham and Harwichport died Wednesday, January 25, 2006, in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 71. Mr. Curtin was a real estate broker who owned Gerald M. Curtin Real Estate in Waltham. A lifelong Waltham resident, he was a graduate of Saint Charles Borromeo High School in Waltham and Northeastern University in Boston. An avid golfer, Mr. Curtin was a member of the Weston Golf Club and a former member of the Rotary Club in Waltham. Mr. Curtin was a devoted family man, much loved by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Mr. Curtin was the son of the late Michael J. and Helena G. (Mitchell) Curtin and the brother of the late Richard J. Curtin and Barbara M. Rotchford. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. (McDade) Curtin; his children, Richard J. Curtin and his wife, Diana, of Sudbury, Nancy J. Avery and her husband, Mark, of Weston, Christopher P. Curtin and his wife, Deirdre, of Waltham, Patricia A. Ward and her husband, Mark, of Denver Colorado, and Gerald M. Curtin, Jr. and his wife, Denise, of North Easton; his sister, Mary P. Curtin of Waltham; fifteen grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 10 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
