Waltham - Mrs. Gilda D. (Branco) Gaipo, of Waltham, died at home on Monday, March 7, 2016. She was 94.
Gilda was born August 13, 1921 in Somerville, a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Pacheco) Branco. She had been a resident of Waltham since her marriage to James J. Gaipo who died July 5, 2004.
In addition to her husband, James, she was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Pimental and Mary Medeiros.
She leaves her sons, Michael M. Gaipo and his wife, Kelley, of Waltham and James A. Gaipo and his wife, Tammy, of Groton; her step-daughter, Tana M. Aquilera of California and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private.
Memorials in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
