Giuseppe Davoli

Waltham – Mr. Giuseppe Davoli, of Waltham, died Thursday, January 22, 2009 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was 95. Giuseppe was born on January 12, 1914 in Calabria, Italy, a son of the late Francesco and Giuseppina (Clausi) Davoli. He had lived in Italy and in Venezuela for most of his life where he worked as a barber and came to the United States in 1971, settling in Waltham. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Vincenzina (Sinopoli) Davoli; his children, Franco F. Davoli and his wife, Noreen, of Marlboro and Renato P. Davoli and his wife, Mary, of Waltham; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Frankie and Melanie Davoli and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Franca Davoli. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Giuseppe's Funeral at 10 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Watham at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
