Glenn W. Burdett

Waltham - Mr. Glenn W. Burdett, of Waltham, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in the Wingate Nursing Home in Needham, on his 84th birthday. A lifelong Waltham resident, Mr. Burdett graduated from Waltham High School. He was the proprietor of AAA Abco Window and Gutter Service retiring at the age of 69. He had also worked at the Watertown Arsenal and Natick Labs. A World War II veteran, Mr. Burdett served with the United States Army. He was a member of the Joseph F. Hill American Legion Post #156 in Waltham. He was also an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Mr. Burdett was the husband of the late Marilyn (Falardeau) Burdett, the son of the late John T. and Grace (Hood) Burdett, and the brother of the late Charles and Norman Burdett. He is survived by his son, Glenn A. Burdett of Waltham; his granddaughter, Kristy Riendeau; his great-grandchildren, Angelina, Chalice, and Gabrielle Riendeau, and his dear friend, Celia Whittredge of Needham. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Service at 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
