Gordon D. Martin

Framingham – Mr. Gordon D. Martin, of Natick, died Monday, November 27, 2006 at Eliot Health Care Center, Natick. He was 78.<br><br>Born in Boston, a son of the late Stanley and Edna Martin, he had lived in Waltham for most of his life. Until his retirement, Gordon worked as an engineer operator for the Engineers Union Local No. 4. He was also a former member of the Waltham Elks.<br><br>He leaves his children, Elizabeth C. Hurley of Framingham, Robert G. Martin of Billerica, John S. Martin of Wilmington and Edward A. Martin of Natick; one brother, Edmund Martin of Waltham; one sister, Jean Dalton of Miami, Florida; his former wife, Christine (Anderson) Barstow of Waltham; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.<br><br>He was also a brother of the late Ronald ‘Buddy’ Martin and Thomas ‘Diddy’ Martin.<br><br>Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 8 p.m. Thursday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be private.<br><br>Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.<br>
