Grace E. Kennedy

Waltham – Miss Grace E. Kennedy, of Waltham, died Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Epoch of Weston. She was 93. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late James H. and Jennie H. (Reid) Kennedy, she was raised and educated in Waltham and had been a lifelong resident. She graduated from Waltham High School in 1930 and from Burdette Business College. Until her retirement in 1978, Grace worked as a secretary to the president of the Raytheon Company in Lexington. She was a lifetime member of First Congregational Church in Waltham where she had also been a member and past president of the Women’s Association. Grace was a sister of the late Priscilla Kennedy, Ruth Palmer and Francis Kennedy and leaves a nephew, William L. Palmer, III and her dear friends, Winifred Kneisel and Alma Pontz, both of Waltham. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2 in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Seaside Cemetery, Gloucester.
