Waltham Mr. Guerrino DiGiusto, of Waltham, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 in Epoch Healthcare of Weston after a period of failing health. He was 88. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Luigina (Ciavattone) DiGiusto; three sons, Carlo DiGiusto and his wife, Cathy, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Walter DiGiusto and his wife, Maryann, of Winchester and Louis DiGiusto of Waltham; two grandchildren, Gerald DiGiusto of Brunswick, Maine and Caroline ONeil of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Emily ONeil and many nieces and nephews. Guerrino was born in Anversa, Provincia de Abruzzi, Italy, a son of the late Luigi and Carolina (Rosati) DiGiusto and moved to the United States in 1955. He first lived in Ansonia, Connecticut before moving to Waltham in 1961. Guerrino served in the Italian Army for over 5 years. He worked as a machinist for Donnelly Manufacturing in Waltham and Instrumental Laboratories in Lexington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Saturday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
