Guifang Li

Ms. Guifang Li, born in Heilongjiang, P.R. China in 1935, led a fulfilled life deeply rooted in communal living style. Her experiences studying abroad, working and living in embassies, and other life experiences shaped her lifelong devotion to foreign affairs. She developed close relationships with classmates and coworkers throughout her life, showcasing her excellent teamwork skills.

Ms. Li was fortunate to have a loving and capable late husband, Mr. Li Wang, who took care of everything at home, which sparked envy among their friends and relatives. Mr. Li Wang's unwavering support and willingness to assist Ms. Li in all her endeavors further strengthened their bond. In addition to their strong relationship, Ms. Li was passionate about singing and dancing. Her exceptional talent allowed her to sing in multiple languages, including Japanese, Bulgarian, Russian and Greek. Furthermore, her ability to create skits and entertain others during gatherings brought joy and laughter to their social interactions.

She died on May 28, 2023 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 87.

Ms. Li is survived by her daughter, Aijun Michelle Wang, son-in-law George Dai, and two granddaughters.
