Waltham Mrs. H. Marie (White) Kelly, of Waltham, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham. She was 79. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Frederick J. and Honora H. (Evans) White, she was a lifelong resident. Marie graduated from Saint Charles High School in Waltham, and until her retirement, worked for many years as a telephone operator for the New England Telephone & Telegraph Company. She also worked at Waltham City Hall, part-time, as a telephone operator. Marie was a longtime member of Our Ladys Parish in Waltham where she belonged to the Ladies Sodality and taught in the religious education program. The wife of the late John F. Kelly, she leaves her children and their spouses, Anne Marie Kelly of Quincy, Henry F. Kelly of Los Angeles, California, John P. Kelly and his wife, Cindy, of Waltham, Robert F. Kelly and his wife, Cathy, of Wrentham and Darlene M. Rezendes and her husband, John, of Waltham; her grandchildren, Shannon, Ryan, Patrick, Catherine, Meredith, Jacob and Emily Kelly; Timothy, Stephanie, John and Kenneth Rezendes and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Frederick and Leon White. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at 9 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
