Hanne M. (Khoury) Boulos

Waltham – Mrs. Hanne M. (Khoury) Boulos, of Waltham, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She was 81.

Hanne was born in Lebanon on January 17, 1936, a daughter of the late Michael and Nahara Khoury. She moved with her family to the United States in 1975, settling in Waltham. Widowed at a young age she worked long hours to support her family at McDonalds in Waltham where she became a friend and mentor to many.

As a devout Jehovah's Witness, her faith was the central theme to her life. At home Hanne possessed a green thumb and kept beautiful plants inside and a splendid garden outside.

The wife of the late Yacoub Boulos she leaves her children, Nina Malouf of Buffalo, New York, Grace Salman of Shrewsbury, Anthony Boulos, Nabil Boulos, both of Waltham and Rita Boulos of Egypt and fifteen grandchildren.

Family and friends will honor and remember Hanne's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, September 1st from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday morning in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham where graveside services will be held at 10 a.m.
