Hannelore T. Arnoul Santosuosso

Waltham – Mrs. Hannelore T. 'Hanna' Arnoul Santosuosso, of Waltham, died Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 69. Born in Neu-Isenburg, Germany, a daughter of the late Friedrich W. and Maria Elizabeth (Oberwallner) Arnoul, Hanna had lived in Waltham since immigrating to the United States forty-five years ago. Until her retirement, she worked as a statistical accountant for Arkwright Insurance of Waltham. While at Arkwright she was a coordinator for the American Red Cross and the company wide clothing drive for the homeless. Hanna was a longtime parishioner and active in parish activities at Saint Jude Church in Waltham where her husband serves as permanent deacon. She was also involved with Casa Monte Cassino, a home for families undergoing medical treatment, Habitat for Humanity, Rosie's Place in Boston, World Vision, the American Cancer Society fund raising drives, the SAE African Missions, the Christian Foundation for Children and Adults, Smile Train and the Reagle Players in Waltham. She leaves her husband, Deacon Alfred E. Santosuosso; her daughter, Angela DeAngelis and her husband, Steven, of Chelmsford; her step-children, Debra Dorsey of Seminole, Florida, Dianne Funk of Wichita, Kansas, Jeffrey Santosuosso of Grapevine, Texas and Andrew Santosuosso of Maynard; her grandchildren, Tiana, Kaela, Michael and Lilia DeAngelis, Kelly, Nicholas and Olivia Dorsey, Alexander and Kristen Funk and Anthony Santosuosso; her sisters, Lieselotte Klabisch, Rosemarie Jewini and Christa Arnoul, all of Germany and many nieces and nephews. Hanna was also a sister of the late Friedel Arnoul. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham and will conclude with a wake service at 7 p.m. Hanna's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, in Saint Jude Church and burial will follow in Newton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Parish, 147 Main Street, Waltham, MA 02453.
