Webster – Mr. Harold G. Robblee of Webster, died Monday, July 11, 2011 in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. He was 56. Harold was born in a U.S. Army Base in Manheim, Germany on May 30, 1955, a son of the late James and Ruth (Sampson) Robblee. He had lived in Worcester and Watertown before moving to Webster six years ago.
Harold was a caretaker whose home was a foster home for over thirty children. He was an engineer at the Framingham Union Hospital for twenty-five years until his retirement.
Harold is survived by his foster children, Shaun Perry, Todd Perry, Tabitha Perry, Heather Jolly, Justin Etre, and Shawn Russell; his brother, James A. Robblee of Bourne and his sister, Maureen A. Hamilton of Sharon. Harold was a mentor to many and was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Harold’s by gathering for calling hours on Sunday from 3-5 pm in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Monday when his Funeral Service will be held at 10 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
