Hazel E. Trainor

Waltham - Mrs. Hazel E. (Bonnell) Trainor, of Waltham, died Friday, August 17, 2007 at Stonehedge Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Boston. She was 90. Born in Providence, Rhode Island a daughter of the late Lester and Olga (Eckberg) Bonnell, Hazel had lived in Waltham for more than 60 years. Until her retirement she worked as a secretary. Hazel was a member of the Beaverbrook Senior Citizens Club, enjoyed art and also volunteered her time at the Jonathan Bright School in Waltham. Hazel was the wife of the late George J. Trainor and sister of the late James S. Bonnell and Jean Lively. She leaves her daughter, Esther M. Arsenault of Newton Centre; two grandchildren, Kim A. Scalia and Christopher M. Scalia; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Scalia; and several nieces and nephews, including Tom Trainor of Waltham. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham.
