Helen L. (Chace) Chamberlain

Mrs. Helen L. (Chace) Chamberlain, of Waltham, died Wednesday, April 28, 2020 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 91.
Helen was born June 2, 1928 in Somerset a daughter of the late Nathan and Ada (Peck) Chace. Raised in Waltham she was a graduate of Waltham High School. She was married to Carl H. Lawson until his death on June 20, 1970. She later remarried Fred Chamberlain Sr and was married until his death in 1993.
She worked as an administrative assistant at John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston and later at Brandeis University before retiring.
Her hobbies and interests included cooking, gardening, knitting and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husbands, Carl and Fred she is predeceased by her sisters, Hazel Burton and Dorothy Crowell.
She leaves her daughters, Debra L. Lawson, Cynthia J. Hire (Kenneth), all of Waltham and Rebecca A. Lewis (Jeff) of Ashland; her grandchildren, Jason, Donald, Jeremy and Andrew Hire and Hannah Lewis; her great-grandchildren, Mason and Madison Hire; nieces and nephews.
Helen's family gathered privately in Joyce Funeral Home followed by burial in Mount Feake Cemetery.
