Helen A. Ford

Waltham – Mrs. Helen A. (O'Leary) Ford, of Waltham, died on May 1, 2013 in The Maristhill Nursing Home. She was 93.

Helen was born in Boston on December 24, 1919, a daughter of the late Timothy and Delia O'Leary. She worked as a secretary for many years at the P.J. Casey Moving Company in Watertown and then Canton until she retired to care for her late husband, James H. Ford.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Ford and his wife, Lynne, of Concord, New Hampshire, and James Ford of Quincy; her grandsons Tyler and Matthew Ford and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Helen was the sister of the late Mary Daly, Margaret Ryan, Helen Valade, Gertrude Sullivan and Rita Long.

Family and friends will honor and remember Helen's life by gathering to visit at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8th, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, where her Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
