Helen M. Guminskis

Waltham – Mrs. Helen M. (Smith) Guminskis of Waltham died Sunday, February 20, 2005 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 85. Born and raised in Waltham, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Driscoll) Smith, she was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School in Waltham and was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church. Helen had been a member of the Friends of the Waltham Public Library and until her retirement worked for many years as a secretary for Sherman Paper Products of Newton. She leaves her husband, Konstantins ‘Konnie’ Guminskis. She was also the sister of the late Leonard Smith. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 11 a.m. Thursday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
