Helena M. Munger

Waltham – Mrs. Helena M. (McGuines) Munger of Waltham died Wednesday in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 88. Mrs. Munger was born in Everett and was a secretary for Ideal Concrete Block Company in Waltham for many years. She was a volunteer at Waltham Hospital. Mrs. Munger was the daughter of the late Richard and Florence (Tyrrell) McGuines and is survived by her children, Sheila E. Shea and her husband, Stephen, of Marlborough and Roberta Lowe of Waltham, and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Shea of Chicago, Christopher Shea of Marlborough, and Jennifer Fay of South Dennis. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2-5 p.m.
