Ms. Helena M. Quinlan, of Newton, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 76.
She was born on May 5, 1946 in Newton a daughter of the late William H. and Florence H. (Geiger) Quinlan and was a lifelong Newton resident. A graduate of Our Lady's High School in Newton with the class of 1964 she then began work in the insurance industry working as claims specialist for many years at Liberty Mutual Insurance, retiring in 2002.
A loyal and enthusiastic New England sports fan she loved both the Red Sox and Patriots and enjoyed country music.
She was predeceaed by her sister, Sheila M. Quinlan on August 19, 2021. She is survived by her best friend and cousin, Maureen Devoe and numerous cousins with the Mahoney and Devoe families.
Funeral services are private.
