Helene O. Hebert

Waltham - Mrs. Helene O.(Fredette) Hebert, of Waltham, died Monday October 2, 2006 at Meadow Green Nursing Home in Waltham. She was 64. Helene was the daughter of the late Louis and Blanche(Desmarais)Fredette and had been a lifelong resident. She worked for twenty-five years for the Waltham Federal Savings as a bank teller, and later, as an assistant manager until her retirement. She was the sister of the late Theresa, Paul, Robert and Louis Fredette, Jr., and Claire Balian. Helene is survived by her husband Roger E. Hebert, Sr.; her children, Waltham Firefighter Roger E. Hebert, Jr. and his wife, Deborah (Melanson) of Milford, Ray P. Hebert and his wife, Colleen(O’Brien) of Derry, New Hampshire, and Diane M. Hebert of Santa Fe New Mexico; one brother, Rev. Joseph Fredette of Michigan; her mother-in-law, Edna Hebert of Waltham; her grandchildren, Ray P. Hebert, Jr., Lauren, Courtney, and Ashley Hebert, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations my be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
