Horace A. Crowe

Hot Springs, Arkansas – Mr. Horace A. Crowe, Jr., of Waltham, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Hot Springs. He was 71. Born in Wynne, Arkansas, a son of the late Horace A. and Henrietta (Donner) Crowe, Sr., he was a banking analyst for various companies. During the Korean War he served with the United States Air Force. Horace was the husband of the late Nina Isobel (Hanlin) Crowe, brother of the late Beatrice Jones and uncle of the late Guy Parrish. He leaves his children, Brian A. Crowe of Arlington, John S. Crowe of Bellows Falls, Vermont, and Lorraine J. Crowe of Waltham; two sisters, Ilene Cooley of Florida, and Julia Parrish of Donaldson, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Samantha Crowe of Bellows Falls; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Anthros, Anna Anthros, Paul Parrish, Donna Parrish, and Michael Anthros. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
