Huy V. Trinh

Mr. Huy V. Trinh, of Waltham, died Saturday December 17, 2022, at his home. He was 84.

Huy was born in Hai Phong, Vietnam on April 22, 1938, a son of the late Ky The and Le A. (To) Trinh. He was raised and educated in Vietnam, before immigrating to the United States. They first lived in Rochester Minnesota, before settling in Waltham, Massachusetts. Huy also worked in the restaurant industry for many years.

Huy leaves his Wife Muoi (Dang) Trinh, his children Steven (Lyanne) of Weston, Mark of Maine, Johnny (Natthawan) of Framingham, Scott (Kim) of Waltham, Quyen of Framingham and My (Wilson) of Framingham. His grandchildren Aileen, Meileen, Alexis, Austin, Olivia, Emma, Liam, Hunter and Mason. 

Family and friends will honor and remember Huy ’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, December 28thfrom 4 to 7 p.m. A service for Huy will begin at 8 am Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
