Waltham - Mrs. Ida E. (LeBlanc) Doucet, of Waltham, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 99. Born in Memramcook, New Brunswick, a daughter of the late Marc and Adeline (LeBlanc) LeBlanc, Ida was a jewel inspector for many years for the R.H. Bird Company in Waltham. She was the wife of the late Ernest J. Doucet and sister of the late Mary Melanson, Lena Doucet, and Anna, Laurie, Antoine, and Gerard LeBlanc. Ida leaves two daughters, Dorinne B. Burke and her husband, Bruce, of Waltham and Annette C. Sheasley and her husband, Marlin, of Dauphin, Pennsylvania; one sister, Bibienne Doucet of Waltham; her grandchildren, Christopher McLean and his wife, Beth, Andrew McLean, Keith Burke and his wife, Jennifer, Kevin Burke and his wife, Jodi; eight great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham, followed by Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
