Waltham – Miss IdaMae DeBuono, of Waltham, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Meadowgreen Nursing Center in Waltham. She was 85. Born in Salida, Colorado, a daughter of the late Henry and Letitia (DeBease) DeBuono, IdaMae worked as the assistant town accountant for the Town of Weston for many years. She was a former administrative assistant at Regis College in Weston and had been an active member of the Waltham Land Trust. She enjoyed cooking and loved being around her family and friends. IdaMae leaves one brother, Francis DeBuono of Waltham, two nieces, Marilyn Cerniglia of Waltham and Linda Curran and her husband, Jack, of South Weymouth and two great-nieces, Courtney and Rebecca Curran. She was also a sister of the late Mary L. Cerniglia and aunt of the late Joseph Cerniglia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass for IdaMae on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 10 a.m. in Saint Julia’s Church, 374 Boston Post Road, Weston Center. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Little People of America Scholarship Fund, c/o Lois Lamb, 6511 lake Circle Drive, Dallas, TX 75214.
