Ingeborg Uhlir

Inge Uhlir (née Neurnberger) of Weston, Massachusetts died peacefully in her sleep on April 6, 2024. 

She was born in Newark, New Jersey on October 23, 1931 to Karl and Erna Neurnberger. Inge graduated Phi Beta Kappa in chemical engineering from Douglass College (now part of Rutgers University in New Jersey). She began work at Bell Labs in Murray Hill NJ, where she met her husband, Arthur A. Uhlir. 

Inge was preceded in death by her husband Arthur and two sons, Steven and Donald. She is survived by son David (Mary); daughter-in-law Kathryn (widow of Steven); and granddaughters Christina, Katherine, and Janet.
