Mrs. Irene M. (Demers) LeBlanc, of Waltham, died Thursday, September 20, 2007 in the Jeanne Jugan Residence in Somerville. She was 96. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Julien and Regina (Braconnier) Demers, Irene was a lifelong resident of Waltham. She was the wife of the late Edward L. LeBlanc and sister of the late Leo, Henry, Alphonse, Arthur, Albert, Conrad, Laurietta, Yvonne Demers, and Alice Saulnier. Irene leaves three sons, Rev. Harold E. LeBlanc, Pastor of Saint Josephs Parish in Woburn, James A. LeBlanc of Osterville, and Daniel C. LeBlanc and his wife, Louise, of Waltham and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Jeanne Jugan Residence, 186 Highland Avenue, Somerville. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Jeanne Jugan Residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jeanne Jugan Residence, 186 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143.
