Iris A. Sumner

Waltham - Mrs. Iris A. (Harvey) Sumner, of Waltham, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She was 78. Born in Weston, Iris was a homemaker and had lived in Waltham for many years. She had also worked as a cashier for the past ten years at Burger King on Moody Street in Waltham. Iris leaves her children, Carole A. Sumner of Waltham and Robert Sumner of Lexington; one grandson, Drew M. Sumner; one sister, Juanita Chagnon of Fort Pierce, Florida and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor and remember Iris's life by gathering for her Funeral Service at The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Friday, February 20, at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in North Cemetery in Wayland.
