Irvin B. Dolan

Waltham – Mr. Irvin B. Dolan, of Waltham, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 48.

Irvin was born in Co. Galway, Ireland on October, 15, 1966, a son of Doreen (Mulry) Dolan of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, and the late Brendan Dolan. He came to the United States more than twenty years ago and had been a Waltham resident since 2002. He was the proprietor of Dolan Tile, a company he established in 1995.

In addition to his mother, Irvin leaves his wife, Brenda L. (Zimelman) Dolan; his son, Sean Dolan and his brothers and sister, Pearse Dolan of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway and Benedict Dolan of Dublin, Ireland and Doreen Reynolds of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.

Family and friends will honor and remember Irvin's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, March 8th from 2 to 5 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Monday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.

Brenda and family will sit Shiva at their home, 38 Turner Street, Waltham on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5 to 8 p.m.
