James W. Ahlman

Woburn – Mr. James W. Ahlman, Jr. of Woburn, formerly of Waltham, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Lexington Health Care Centre, Lexington. He was 60. Born in Boston, a son of the late James W. Ahlman, Sr. and Eleanor (Short) (Ahlman) Maillet, he lived most of his life in Waltham before moving to Woburn seven years ago. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era and had worked as a self-employed general contractor. He leaves his wife, Sundie (Sakulich) Ahlman; 3 brothers, Albert E. Ahlman of Hookset, NH, David B. Ahlman of Leominster and Stephen R. Ahlman of Englewood, FL; his step-son, Frank A. Cancelliere; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, including Bob and Laura Short of Waltham. He was also the father of the late Susan B. Ahlman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 10 a.m. Saturday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
