Waltham – Mr. James H. Curtin Sr., of Waltham, died on Monday, July 14, 2014 at University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center, Worcester. He was 71.
Jim was born in Waltham on October 4, 1942, a son of Rita A. (Walsh) Curtin and late Joseph F. Curtin. He graduated from Waltham High School in 1960 and from Fairfield University in 1964. For most of his professional life he worked as a manager for Graphic Microfilm, Data General and Wang Laboratories.
He is survived by his children, Kelley Curtin-Davis of Fitchburg, Roberta C. Day and her husband, Eric, of Fitchburg, James H. Curtin Jr. and his wife, April, of Anaheim, California, Paul W. Curtin of Ayer, Neil P. Curtin and his wife, Anne, of Waltham and Susan E. Copeland and her husband, Scott, of Ayer; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashley Curtin, Joseph Davis, Austin Senn and Jillian and Keith Copeland; his former wife, Roberta Noke Curtin of Pepperell; his mother, Rita A. Curtin of Norton; his siblings, Joseph F. Curtin and wife, Amelia of Saratoga Springs, New York, Rita A. Wall of Norton, Kenneth J. Curtin and wife, Kathleen of Hopedale and Michael F. Curtin and wife, Jean of Hopkinton and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, John J. Wall, Jr.
