Waltham Mr. James A. Poole of Waltham died Sunday, January 18, 2004 in Beth Israel Hospital, Boston. He was 69. Born in Boston, Mr. Poole had lived in Waltham for more than thirty years and had been employed as a security executive for Filenes Department Store as well as Filene's Basement Store in Boston for over thirty five years. Mr. Poole was a Korean War veteran who served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Poole is survived by his children, James F. Poole of Oakham, Dianna L. Peterson of West Boylston, Darlene M. Mancini of Hopedale, Denise A. Grigas of Millbury, and Dana J. Dougherty of Amherst, NH; his brother, A. Thomas Poole of Ashland; his sister, Muriel Bolduc of Leominster; ten grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Poole was the son of the late John F. and Muriel J. (Pugsley) Poole and the brother of the late Jack Poole, David Poole, and Robert Poole. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held prior to the service Thursday morning from 10-11 a.m. Donations in Mr. Pooles memory to the March of Dimes, 1253 Worcester Road, Suite 400, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
