Jane M. Casey

Cambridge – Ms. Jane M. (O'Mara) Casey, of Cambridge, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. She was 60.

Jane was born in Cambridge on January 13, 1956, a daughter of the late John and Helen (Hastings) O'Mara. She was a lifelong Cambridge resident and had graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and traveling. Family was most important to her and she adored being 'Nana' to her granddaughter Olivia.

She is survived by her beloved children, Jason S. Casey and his wife, Rachel, of North Reading and Lauren L. Willis and her husband, Jason, of Baltimore, Maryland and her granddaughter, Olivia Casey.

She was also the sister of the late Jo-Ann O'Mara.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jane's life by gathering for calling hours from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9th, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham where her funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
