Jane M. Novy

Mrs. Jane M. (McWhinnie) Novy of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died Friday, Feburary 17, 2006 in the Chetwynde Nursing Home, West Newton. She was 66. Born in Boston, Mrs. Novy was raised in Dorchester and lived in Quincy for the past fifteen years. She was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Mary L. (Cain) McWhinnie. She is survived by her children, Capt. Brian J. McWhinnie, U.S.A of Dallas, Texas and Jeanne M. Noyes and her husband, Michael, of Waltham; her grandchildren, Korry and Becca Noyes and Kyle McWhinnie; her brother, Jack McWhinnie of Athol; and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
