Waltham- Mrs. Jane W. (Walker) Schrimpf of Waltham died Monday May 29, 2006 in her home. She was 92. Born in Glasgow, Scotland a daughter of the late John M. and Elizabeth W. (Adamson) Walker, she has lived in Waltham since 1952. She was very active at First Congregational Church in Waltham, a volunteer at Waltham Hospital Thrift Shop and the library at Warrendale School, a former member of the Daughters of Scotia, and a Den Mother for Pack# 250 in Waltham and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was the wife of the late Henry W. Schrimpf Jr, mother of the late Henry W. Schrimpf, III and, sister of the late James Walker, Elizabeth Marr, Ella Collmer and Jemima Bellingham. She leaves her two children John H. Schrimpf and his wife Cindy, and Betsy J. Bailey and her husband Jay all of Waltham, her grandchildren Matthew, Douglas, and Elissa, one great grandchildren, Jakob, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at The First Congregational Church, 730 Main Street, Waltham.
