Janet M. Geib

Waltham - Mrs. Janet M. (Norton) Geib, of Waltham, formerly of Brighton, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in the Spaulding Hospital in Cambridge. She was 55.

Janet was born in Brighton on February 28, 1956, a daughter of the late James and Aileen (Daly) Norton. She was raised in Brighton and graduated from Our Lady of the Presentation High School. She moved to Waltham more than twenty-five years ago and worked as an administrative assistant at the E.R.M. Company in Boston.

She leaves her husband of twenty-two years, T. Mark Geib; her daughters, Jill A. Geib and Elizabeth M. Geib both of Waltham; her sisters, Judith A. Norton, her twin, of Waltham and Jacqueline C. Rutledge of Weston and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Janet’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, June 30th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 10 a.m. on Friday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
