Waltham – Mrs. Janet Lea St. Cyr, of Waltham, died on Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge, after a courageous battle. She was 48.
Janet was born in Stoneham on June 30, 1968. She lived most of her life in Waltham where she was able to combine her lifelong affection for animals with her occupation by working at Petco.
She is survived by her parents, Raymond and Barbara (Hazelton) St. Cyr of Waltham, her siblings, Raymond L. St. Cyr and his wife, Violet, of Waltham, Maria M. Heuman and her husband, Kevin, of New Jersey, Cheryl L. Luce and her husband, Keith, of Milford, Stephen N. St. Cyr and his wife, Pamela, of Hudson, Robert T. St. Cyr and his wife, Gail, of Waltham, Antonio E. St. Cyr and his wife, Paula, of Waltham, Michael P. St. Cyr and his wife, Diana, of Framingham, and Barbara Rae Gray and her husband, Ryan, of Marlborough; her dear friends, Chris Burns and Elise Pantalone; her beloved dog Rudy and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Janet's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, December 6th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
