Janice M. (DeVany) Soucey Robichaud

Mrs. Janice M. (DeVany) Soucey Robichaud, of Waltham, died Wednesday November 20, 2019 in Marist Hill Nursing Home. She was 77.

Janice was born June 23, 1942 in Waltham a daughter of the late Thomas and Ariel (Greer) DeVany. Raised in Waltham she was a graduate of Waltham High School. Janice was primarily a home maker but in later years worked as a home health aide for Medical Resources in Waltham. She was married to Francis R. Soucey until his death on September 16, 1972.

Janice cherished time with her family and friends; whether it was taking a ride in the car to catch up or going out for a cup of coffee or ice cream. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards or games with her grandchildren, bingo with her friends and in earlier years dancing.

In addition to her first husband, Francis she is also predeceased by her second husband, Frederick Robichaud and siblings, Barbara Redfern, Elizabeth 'Betty' Robinson and Rodney DeVany.

She leaves her children, Francis R. Soucey (Pamela Seguin) of Concord, New Hampshire, Wayne T. Soucey (Marlene) of Scituate and Lynn M. Soucey (Lawrence Buccella Jr.) of Waltham; her grandchildren Lauren, Katelyn, Michael, Cassandra and Madison Soucey; her siblings, Margaret 'Peggy' Greene of Marlborough, Eleanor Kelley (late David) of Kingston, New Hampshire and John DeVany of Florida; nieces & nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Janice's life by gathering for her graveside service on Monday, November 25th in Mount Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect Street, Waltham at 12 Noon. There are no calling hours.
