Stow – Mrs. Janyce E. Patriacca, of Stow, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. She was 62.

Janyce was born in Newton on March 27, 1951, a daughter of the late Samuel and Pauline (Venditti) Patriacca. She was raised in Newton and was a graduate of Newton High School and Bentley College in Waltham.

On January 6, 1980 Janyce married James A. Mantenuto at Saint Jude Church in Waltham. The couple lived in Waltham before moving to Stow twenty-five years ago. She had been working as the Life Enrichment Director in the Memory Care unit at Epoch of Weston.

In addition to her husband of thirty-four years, Jim, she leaves her daughter, Jessika P. Mantenuto of Boston; her siblings, Samuel Patriacca of Tyler, Texas and Linda LeBlanc of Holliston and several nieces and nephews.

Janyce was also a sister of the late Paul Patriacca.

Family and friends will honor and remember Janyce's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday December 18th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
