Jayne E. Hassett

Mrs. Jayne E. (McMahon) Hassett of Waltham died Friday October 29, 2004 in Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 79. Born in Newton, a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Fleming) McMahon, she has lived in Waltham for many years. Mrs. Hassett worked as a Receptionist for many years for Welch Optics in Waltham. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Hassett. She is survived by her children Robert L. Hassett Jr, of Marlboro, Maureen E. Hassett and Gayle M. Hassett both of Waltham, Marcia A. Ribeiro of Hudson, one sister Jean E. Dennison of Sandwich, her grandchildren Rob Hassett, Ashley, C.J.; Joey, Dakota and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Tuesday at 8 a.m. from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte.20), Waltham followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 133 School Street, Waltham at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
