Jean J. Cormier

Waltham - Ms. Jean J. (Omobono) Cormier, of Waltham, died Monday October 26, 2009 at Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center. She was 80. Born in Brighton on August 30, 1929, a daughter of the late John and Maria (Cellucci) Omobono, Jean was a homemaker and had lived in Waltham for most of her life. She leaves her daughter, Linda M. Lane of Waltham; two brothers, Anthony Omobono of Billerica and Frank Bono of Newton; her grandchildren, Lisa Wheeler and Sheila Marino; her great-grandchildren, Kevin and Kylie Wheeler and many nieces and nephews. Jean was the wife of the late Yvon J. Cormier and sister of the late Danny Omobono, Gerard Omobono, Lu Deramo, Mary Mancini, and Carmela Zawadski. Family and friends will honor and remember Jean's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m and again on Friday morning when her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
