Jean C. Lopes

Waltham - Mrs. Jean C. (Colligan) Lopes of Waltham, formerly of Falmouth, died Tuesday October 4, 2005 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 81. Mrs. Lopes was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Cooley) Colligan and had worked for many years as a secretary at the Fessenden School in Newton. She was the wife of the late Armando R. Lopes and sister of the late Grace Kennedy. She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Magliocca and her husband, Steve Curley of Boston; her granddaughter, Danielle Magliocca, her great grand-daughter, Ananda and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Patrick’s Church, 212 Main Street, Watertown. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham.
