Jeanne S. (Lane) Connors

Mrs. Jeanne S. (Lane) Connors, of Waltham, died Monday July 31, 2023 at Aspen Hill in Haverhill, MA. She was 76.

Jeanne was born February 6, 1947 in Waltham, the daughter of the late Paul and Terry (DaMorte) Lane. Raised and educated in Waltham, she was a graduate of Waltham High School. She married the late Thomas J. Connors on June 17, 1967 in Our Lady’s Church, and they continued to make Waltham their home. 

Jeanne attended Suburban Business School and worked at the Waltham Hospital X-Ray department early in her career. Before retiring, she worked for 17 years at Jansson Printing Company where she made beautiful handmade invitations and announcements. She had such a talent for wrapping family presents, designing birthday cards, and crafting with her grandkids. 

Jeanne leaves her daughters, Colleen S. Michaels (Christopher) of Beverly, MA and Amiee E. Kloster (Mark) of Honolulu, HI; her grandchildren, Eliza Lane Michaels, Brayden Seawell Kloster, and Keegan Lane Kloster and several nieces and nephews. She was famous to them all for her holiday crabcakes (Crabbies!), her love of Diet Coke and the lottery, and her devotion to family.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jeanne’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, August 9th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
