Jeannette E. Kennedy

Waltham – Mrs. Jeannette E. ‘Jackie’ (Manning) Kennedy of Waltham died Thursday, October 16, 2003 at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital, Brighton. She was 88. A lifelong Waltham resident, Mrs. Kennedy was a member of WesWal Investment Trust and had been involved for several years with Catholic Charities of Boston. Mrs. Kennedy was the wife of the late William R. Kennedy, the mother of the late Barry E. Kennedy, the daughter of the late Edward and Amanda (Robichaud) Manning, and the sister of the late Marjorie Manning. She is survived by her children, Brian R. Kennedy and his wife, Brenda, of Charlotte, NC and Bruce R. Kennedy of Waltham; her grandchildren, Beth and Tracy Kennedy, and her close companions, Sasha and Nikki. The Funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday from The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham, followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10 a.m. Committal services will follow in Newton Cemetery Chapel. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
