Jeannette B. Russes

Watertown - Mrs. Jeannette B. (Doyle) Russes, of Watertown, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was 79.

Jeannette was born in Boston on January 19, 1933, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Connolly) Doyle. She was treasurer of Floral Reflections in Waterown, a flower shop owned by her daughter, Denise. She was an integral part of the day-to-day operations and loved her work at the shop for over 25 years. Jeannette was still working there at the time of her death. She loved everything Disney and her family spent many happy vacations in Orlando.

She was the wife of the late Robert A. Russes.

She leaves her children, Robert A. Russes Jr. of Watertown and San Jose, California, and Denise B. Russes of Watertown; her brothers-in-law Gerald Russes of Banning, California, and Richard Russes of Plymouth; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Russes and Virginia Roberts both of New Hampshire.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jeannette's life by gathering for her calling hours on Thursday, July 12th, from 6-8 pm in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), Waltham and again on Friday morning at 8 am before leaving in procession to Saint Luke's Church, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont, where her Funeral Mass will be offered at 9 am. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.
